AVID Cornel Notes Template

In this project, students are going to learn how to use Cornell Notes. Cornell note-taking is a popular note-taking method for taking, organizing, and summarizing notes. This method typically results in better overall comprehension. This note-taking method was invented by Professor Walter Paul of Cornell University in the 1950s.

The traditional Cornell Notes are used by individuals as they are learning about a specific topic. However, this lesson plan with its Cornell Notes template allows both individuals and teams to use them. When used by teams, they can exercise collaborative work, which opens up the topic to team discussion and better understanding of the topic.
